Superstar of Superstars, the Rajinikanth returns with his latest action thriller Kabali 2016. This is the most awaited film of the year, not only in India but overseas also. This gangster drama flick is directed and written by Pa. Ranjith. The film is basically in Tamil language but is dubbed in Hindi, Thai, and Chinese.

The most shooting of the film was done in Malaysia, and some shots were done in Hong Kong and Bangkok. This is the first Indian movie to be dubbed in Thai and Chinese. Kalaipuli S. Thanu produces the film, and it also has a Taiwanese actor Winston Chao in the lead role in a negative shade.

The movie was all set to release all over the world, but it got leaked over before the release but who could stop the Rajini craze, the movie did a business of 400 crores in only the pre-booking week in multiple countries. So now you can image the power and love for Superstar Rajinikanth.

Kabali: Story Plot

Rajinikanth as Kabaleeswaran (Kabali) is a leader of a gang who fights for the migrant Telugu workers in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia; he fights for their rights. But the local gangster Winston Chao as Tony Lee in the film plots a conspiracy and sends Kabali to jail for 25 years.

Kabali returns from jail and finds his entire family and empire is over, and the Tony Lee is ruling over Kuala Lumpur, then kabala takes the mission to fight against Tony Lee for his people and family and in this race, he finds his wife Kumudhavalli (Radhika Apte) alive. Thus, the story revolves around the revenge, the fight for the people and Rajini leading the battle.

Reasons to Watch Kabali

If you are a diehard Rajini fan, then this movie is for you. It is a complete Rajini show; the entire movie revolves around him. His acting, his charisma, his aura is same as before. An angry, young, hot-blooded mafia don is a treat for his fans.

The story line of the film is good and has some interesting moments. The actress Radhika Apte as Kabali’s wife plays a decent role and fits the character very well and is a crucial part of the film.

What will Disappoint You?

You will miss the Rajini moments; there is not much of his style of action and drama. The film is slow and drags in some parts; somewhere you may get bored or lethargic. So in all, it lacks that entertainment factor which is usually seen in Rajini movies.

The movie released in Tamil as well as its dubbed versions in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Malay in all over the world along with it in Singapore and Indonesia. It is dubbed in Thai and Chinese for its release in China and Hong Kong.

Final Verdict

The film got mixed reviews and rating all over the world some rated average, and some gave a full 5-star rating. The Same case was with the audience as well as the critics some were happy and some disappointed.

So, somewhere you will find a lack of entertainment in the movie as it is a serious story, which fails to meet the huge expectations of Rajini fans. But in all a Rajini show so a must-watch for the Thalia, tha boss.
