Masterminds is the latest upcoming American based comic film, which is based upon the 1997 Loomis Fargo Robbery in North Carolina. The movie is directed by Jared Hess and written in its unique way by Chris Bowman, Hubber Palmer, and Emily Spivey. It is set to be produced by John Goldwyn and Lorne Michaels under the Michaels-Goldwyn and Relativity Media production company, which is to be distributed by Relativity Media.

The movie runs for a good 94 minutes period and is all set to be released today, on 30th September 2016.

Masterminds: Story Plot

David Ghantt plays the character that discovers the true meaning of adventure, which is far beyond his wildest dreams. He plays the role of an uncomplicated man who drives an armored vehicle to transport people’s money and has no particular escape. The only excitement in his life is achieved when Kate Campbell lures him into the scheme of the lifetime. David is set to make off $17 million in cash, but he hands over this money to the double-crossers and gets a fall of his lifetime.

Critic Reviews

The film was not able to grab all the attention of critics. It received a fair amount of rating, 4/10. Despite all the comic talent and the characters playing their best part, the film is not as funny as it tries to be. The movie comes with the absence of wit and the complete comic talent that is essential for a comic film.

On review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, the film received an average of 37%, which is based on 27 reviews. The critics have got mixed reviews for this movie. It is interesting that the movie is based on a real-life robbery, which took place in the 90’s. The details of the robbery that took place and the flick are quite matching, which depicts that the flick has been directed keeping in mind the comic and the robbery, which will attract the viewers.

Final Verdict
