BJP To Meet Congress To Settle The Differences For GST Bill

BJP and Congress leaders today are going to meet each other so that the crucial Goods and Services Tax (GST) bill can be passed in parliament without any hitch. The GST Bill will be discussed tomorrow in the Parliament so senior leaders of BJP & Congress are to meet so that the bill can be discussed and the differences can be removed.

According to the Mallikarjun Kharge, BJP is deliberately making delay. The BJP leader Arun Jaitley has an intention to break the opposition in pieces and trap others. He also said that their leaders wanted to pass the GST bill in the parliament. Today BJP has the last chance to induce the Congress for this Bill.

This is one such a bill that has been pending for a long time. On Sunday, The Home Minister Rajnath Singh seems to very confident for getting this Bill passed in Parliament. He said that they wanted that GST Bill would be amended. Political leaders have been discussing this Bill since the Congress time.

Home Minister compared Prime Minister Modi to The Great King Maharaja Krishnadevaraya who was the emperor of Vijayanagara. He said that Modi is also for making some procedural and structural reforms like the great king in whose rule, foreigners come to India and make an investment here, that’s why he has prosperity in his kingdom. He also included that people in the rule were happy. He told that the foreign investment is important for the prosperity of India.

He further said that Since the BJP had come to power; we had USD 52 billion foreign investment in India. He also informed that BJP has eradicated around 1200 laws in its two years rule, and they will be put back with new laws.

The Constitutional Amendment Bill has been listed so that discussion on this bill in Rajya Sabha can be considered and passage this week. The purpose of GST Bill is to include almost all direct taxes into it.

The Prime Minister of India has also met Cabinet members and said to make a firm strategy for the passage of this Bill in the Rajya Sabha.
